• MedcoHealth Solutions (NYSE:MHS) reported third quarter earnings of 75 cents ex-items, 4 cents above Zacks estimates, on revenues of $14.80 billion, up from estimates of $14.71 billion

• Miller Tabek upgraded entertainment stocks such as CBS (NYSE:CBS), Entravision (NYSE:EVC), News Corp. (NASDAQ:NWS), Viacom (NYSE:VIA.B), and Disney (NYSE:DIS) from "neutral" to "buy"

• Disney (NYSE:DIS) said China approved its plans for a $3.5 billion theme park in Shanghai, set to open in 2014 at the earliest

• Time Warner (NYSE:TWX) reported third quarter earnings of 61 cents a share, ahead of Zacks estimates of 52 cents.  Revenue of $7.14 billion was almost inline with Zacks estimates.  The firm said it sees full-year earnings of at least $2.05

• Garmin (NASDAQ:GRMN) reported third quarter earnings of $1.02 a share, versus Zacks estimates of 70 cents on revenues of $781 million, which beat Zacks estimates of $695 million

• Energizer Holdings (NYSE:ENR) was removed from Goldman Sachs' (NYSE:GS) Conviction Buy List, on the outlook for disappointment in its margin recovery

Ailing pipelines has big pharma following investors orders and getting into biotechs. Today Swiss Roche Corporation ( ROG) launched a bid to buy Ventana Medical Systems, Inc. ( VMSI). Najarian cited the current convention in Chicago for the American Diabetes Association. He is following Isis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ( ISIS), Myogen (MYOG) and Elan Corporation, plc ( ELN). He told us that those that will benefit most from the diabetes therapies were ISIS, Bristol Myers Squibb Co. ( BMY) and AstraZeneca plc ( AZN). Adami went with Biogen Idec Inc. ( BIIB) as a possible takeover target.

An agreement allowing Venezuela's state run oil company to take charge of joint ventures in the south of the country was not signed by Exxon Mobil Corporation ( XOM) and ConocoPhillips ( COP). Bolling talked about the re-nationalizing of chunks of oil field and those that remained strong were those that stayed such as Statoil ASA ( STO), Total S.A. ( TOT) and Chevron Corporation ( CVX). Bolling said the best play is owning United States Oil Fund LP (ETF) ( USO).

Strangling The Spider
The market has been up and down lately but the volatility of the market can make you "fast money." Najarian told us that the volatility of the market will usually pay out in 3-4 weeks time. He told us to buy the S&P 500 Index - "Spiders" ( SPY) 149 puts if you believe in the market. Another trade he told us was to buy the 151 call and bet the S&P when it moves above the 151. Ratigan told us that this is called "strangling the spider."

Hispanic buying power was the subject of this segment today. The Senate voted to give new life to the controversial immigration bill. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Walter Ulloa from Entravision Communications ( EVC) joined the show. He thinks the bill will effect their business as it will give more hispanics buying power. This year the hispanic market is going to be $850 billion and estimated to be $1 trillion by 2010. The business at EVC is growing at 4 to 5 times faster than the general markets according to Ulloa. Bolling and Adami like the company.
