What’s Happening In The Market Now... Stocks opened down again today and are trading relatively flat so far this morning. June nonfarm payrolls rose a larger than expected 132K and the prior two months show an additional 75K jobs. The jobs data may help ease worries about slowing growth. The unemployment rate held steady at a low 4.5%. Sectors starting the day out strong include health care supplies, gold and drillers while photo products, food distributors and paper products are weaker. Volume leaders include Pfizer Inc. (PFE), Southern Co (SO), Sun Microsystems, Inc. (SUNW), Hilton Hotels Corporation (HLT) and Apple Inc. (AAPL).
