The Ovation Film Revolution has announced the release of their documentary film based on "The Cord of Callows" trilogy series written by Author Anna Kavanaugh and narrated by Actor Matt Roe. The film is set for release in the first week of April.

The Ovation Film Revolution has announced their release of the documentary film they have produced based on "The Cord Of Callows" trilogy series written by Author Anna Kavanaugh. The documentary is entitled, "The Cord Of Callows Trilogy: Fact Behind The Fiction. Fear Behind The Fact." Actor Matt Roe, who portrays character Mason Everett in CREED has been selected to provide narration for the film. It is scheduled for release the first week of April.

The author has been working closely with the actor, the executive producers and production team in the development of the project and also refitting the character of Mason Everett more specifically to Roe, due to his dramatic difference of appearance from the initially conceived character in the original novel.

The two spent early March promoting the documentary film in interviews and talk radio in New York City, garnering much interest in the topic.

Of his narrative role in the documentary film, Matt Roe said:

"I am so proud to be involved with this documentary and to have a chance to work with a group of people as dedicated and focused as The Ovation Film Revolution and with a person as talented as Anna. It is such an honor to be able to work with a group of people who have so much to offer that it is a real joy to help lend a voice to such an important topic, one that has been untold for far too long. Anna’s is a truly unique voice. She is able to speak with such eloquence and passion about this topic and yet you never feel like she is lecturing you or holding ground over you. Instead you feel she is legitimately concerned about the health and well being of people. The fact that she is able to layer this message into such a fantastic narrative is a testament to her skills as a writer."

The Ovation Film Revolution plans feature films for all three of Kavanaugh's novels in the trilogy series, commencing with CREED. Production of all three films is expected to span six to seven years and will shoot in several locations worldwide.

"Anna has crafted a once in a generation story and the timing of it could not be more apropos," Matt explained. "I honestly feel that we stand at a threshold. We still have time to address these issues, to center ourselves on what matters and attempt to fix it, to get ourselves back on track. And I don’t think that we should view this as going backwards, a return to the way things used to be because I believe that marginalizes the issue. We have an incredible opportunity to forge the kind of world we want to live in, to shape our future in a way that supports and embraces us."

Anna Kavanaugh's trilogy series is published by The Callahan Croft Publishing House, Inc. and the first released installment is available for pre-order at Barnes & Noble where it spent its initial several weeks on the bestsellers list and maintains months on a solid sales ranking. CREED will be released following the documentary film, a date to be determined sometime this spring.
